Frame cannot give us "granular" results within search such as:

How many video (or audio) assets were created in 2025?

I can't believe this is true - not sure how they would expect users to report on environment.

What if I needed to see how many PDF files are in a workspace?

This was confirmed with our Frame CSM.

I’m midway through vibe-coding my first UXP panel for Premiere Pro with Claude. And it’s amazing. From a simple prompt, a LOT of troubleshooting and iteration over a few hours, I have a functional panel. It’s a lot like working with 2 developers - one “managing” the project, giving me verbose updates, helping me troubleshoot and another dev doing lightning-fast changes and versioning while the first one explains everything. It gives lots of insight into the framework, how it’s being used, what works and what doesn’t. I think this is my new video game.

The UXP developer tools are in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, and all you need is Premiere, UXP Tools, and Claude to get started. I’m impressed. And I’m learning as I’m doing it.

This first panel was a simple test of Claude’s ability to navigate the UXP framework, creating a panel that identifies and selects all offline clips in the sequence. (This is something now possible in Premiere 26.2 thanks to the Sequence Index panel, which makes it easy to compare results.)

We were excited to have the DVA/Video Team come to a Pre-NAB session! This session showcased top collaborative workflows from ideation to post-production, helping improve storytelling and high-value creative work. We took a look at new features that accelerated asset creation with Firefly Boards, editing in Premiere, and refined video and audio capabilities with Firefly on the web. Karl also shared the newest innovations in color controls within Premiere.

so i thought i would share a simple one i made that should be useful to anyone who regularly uses InDesign and character styles. a script that automatically sets the character style to "[None]" for selected text. The important step after installing this script is to then open the Keyboard Shortcuts (Edit | Keyboard Shortcuts), change product area to "scripts," select this script from the list, and then under "new shortcut" assign something that's available, like "Ctrl+Alt+N" with Context set to "Text." Then you can select a block of text, click ctrl-alt-n, and it will automatically set your character style to "[None]."

since it won't let me attach a .jsx file, you can paste this into notepad or similar app and save it in your scripts folder with a .jsx extension (windows, not sure what you need to do on mac).
